memorial day is always a celebration on the cern ranch, mi querencia. a gathering of friends and family. those willing to tolerate the extreme heat are free to grab a rifle and go out and try to kill a feral hog. but sadly, this year the guest list will be two short with the passing of two lifelong friends and veterans. thanks to all who served this great nation.

Sorry to hear about the passing of your friends. Not sure I understand how celebrating fallen heros with a feral hunt falls into Memorial Day. I might understand a little better on Vets Day.
We try and limit the pathos. They were the kind of guys that would not like people being overly saddened by their departures. Everyone likes shooting a wild hog.
